Comment: I have to agree with you in that in our eyes, President Obama is not a Muslim. However, one major problem that he has is that Islam does not see things the way that we do. If your father is Muslim, that automatically makes you Muslim. No arguments. Islam does not allow for much debate.

The Making of a ChINO

A lot of people, who believe President Barack Hussein Obama is a Marxist loving fringe Democrat, also want to believe this President with an Islamic-Arab name and an obvious sympathy for Wahhabi/Salafi Muslims like rich Saudis and Jew-hating Palestinians is a Muslim. I also have been tempted into calling BHO a Muslim; however a closer examination of his path to political power in America will demonstrate his not a Muslim. That closer examination should show that BHO is not a Christian either. Or at least BHO is not a Biblical believing Christian. If there is any Christianity at all in BHO it is the kind with the sanitized appellation of Progressive Christian; i.e. a person that is a Christian in name only (would that be a ChINO?). Since I just made up a word for a Christian in name only I might as well make a definition up also.

Let’s call a ChINO person that denies the Divinity of the Bible. A ChINO would be someone that associates Jesus’ Words of Love as a method of implementing Socialist or Leftist or Marxist social transformative concepts into society to bring into existence an egalitarianism that practices State approved multiculturalism. This multiculturalism would celebrate diversity in divergent cultures and alternate lifestyles in mandated union. The mandated union would accept all cultural practices that do not rock the boat of State approved social mores which include extending forced

Sarah Palin’s plans mark change in posture toward Iowa

A Palin appearance in Iowa Republican event fuels speculation she will run for President. Here is one Republican in her corner if she makes that future leap.

Sarah Palin’s plans mark change in posture toward Iowa

Sarah Palin’s scheduled political trip to Iowa this month marks a shift from near silence in the leadoff presidential nominating state to the kind of outreach common among White House prospects.

Palin’s plan to headline the Iowa Republican Party’s annual fall fundraiser on Sept. 17 is solely to help raise money for the state party’s candidates, the former Alaska governor’s aides said.

And one trip to Iowa is a long way from a successful campaign for the state’s 2012 presidential caucuses, still 18 months away, Iowa party insiders said.

But Palin’s recent overtures to Iowa reveal a change in posture that puts her in a position — like other 2012 presidential prospects already laying campaign groundwork in Iowa — to build goodwill and relationships with

Signs in Arizona warn of smuggler dangers

Posted by johnhouk on Sep 02, 2010
The United States of America is the land of the free and the home of the brave - or is it? Recently a Federal Judge at the behest of the Obama Administration struck down the enforcement power of an Arizona State law that did nothing to contradict Federal law. The problem President BHO had with the Arizona law was it would force the Federal government to do something with the illegal aliens scooped up by law enforcement within Arizona State authority. Obama also typically utilized the race card to rouse Leftists and people of Mexican-American descent (illegal, legal, naturalized citizens and natural-born citizens) to cry racial profiling is unconstitutional and thus a violation of civil rights.

Let’s take a look at how the Obama Administration is fulfilling its legal obligation to keep American’s safe through enforcing laws against illegal aliens more specifically in keeping Mexican drug lords from threatening Americans (including legal aliens, naturalized citizens and natural-born citizens of Mexican descent).

The federal government has posted signs along a major interstate highway in Arizona, more than 100 miles north of the U.S.-Mexico border, warning travelers the area is unsafe because of drug and alien smugglers, and a local sheriff says Mexican drug cartels now control

Religious Freedom and a Mosque

Islam expert Bill Warner weighs in on the idiocy of building a Mosque near the Ground Zero of an Islamic Terrorist attack that killed nearly three thousand souls in the name of Allah as commanded by the Quran.

One of the most common arguments of the supporters of the Ground Zero mosque includes religious freedom as guaranteed by the First Amendment. Religion is seen as the framework to support building a mosque and community center near the site of the former World Trade Towers. Is this really about religion? Step back and look at the controversy. Do you feel like you are taking part in a religious exercise or a political fracas?

There is a vast confusion about what a religion is and is not. Currently the operative rule is that anything associated with Islam is a

My Thoughts on the Twelve Biggest Lies

Cloud Ten Pictures is a Christian Evangelical oriented movie studio based in Toronto, Canada. Cloud Ten is hooking up with actor Kevin Sorbo (Hercules and Andromeda) who will be the host of a documentary entitled “The Twelve Biggest Lies.” The documentary poses twelve statements that the media, Left and anti-Christians demand people to accept as truth.

    1. There is no such thing as Absolute Truth.

    2. People are inherently good.

    3. No one should be offended.

    4. Men and women are equal.

    5. A fetus isn’t human.

    6. The world is overpopulated.

    7. Americans are greedy and self-centered.

    8. Islam is a religion of truth.

    9. The Jews stole Jerusalem.

    10. The earth is billions of years old.

    11. There is no God.

    12. Jesus was just a good man.

I have no idea of the path Cloud Ten Pictures is taking to prove these statements are lies. I can point out the ones that are pet peeves for me though.

There is no absolute truth: This is the dream of all Leftists. The Left demands that all truth be viewed as relative. Relative truth enables

Political Islam

When you read the comments section of an article about Islam, you will see the argument: I have some Muslim friends and they are good people. The conclusion: good Muslims mean that Islam is good. If the talk is face-to-face, the person may ask: Do you have any Muslim friends? There is a hidden implication that if you do not, then you don’t really know anything about Islam and you could be a bigot.

What is actually going on? The Kafir (non-Muslim) with Muslim friends does not know any real facts about Islam and wants to move the argument to feelings, not facts. If the Muslim friend is nice, Islam is nice. There is no need to know any facts about Islam. And, if Islam is nice, then

The other day I watched as New Yorkers were being interviewed about the proposed Mosque.

One typical—and yes I say typical because there is such a thing as a typical New Yorker—and that is not a bad thing. In fact it’s rather a colorful and fun thing, actually.

So the New Yorker steps up to the microphone and

Comment by Barelvi about an Islamic Golden Rule

Posted by johnhouk on Aug 29, 2010
A comment was sent in by one who calls himself/herself Barelvi. The comment is in reference to a concept of the existence or nonexistence of an Islamic Golden Rule. There are many posts at SlantRight.com on such a Golden Rule. Most of the posts have a relationship to Bill Warner of Political Islam and the Center for the Study of Political Islam. Warner is a great source on exposing the negative aspects of Islam that are inimical to the Western mindset and the American way of thinking. I suspect Barelvi’s comment is best related to the post: “Warner to Sagan: You are Wrong.” To view information on the concept of “Golden Rule” you can type those words in SlantRight.com’s Search Engine to see the related posts.

Comment:
I apologize for a long post to answer your question. The claim that Mohammed uttered a version of the Golden Rule is denied by Al Nawawi who recorded this 'narration' (hadith in Arabic).

IMAM AL-NAWAWI IN NO WAY SUPPORTS THE GOLDEN RULE

Nowhere in Islam is there a clear expression of the Golden Rule that one finds in other religions. Alterity (Wikipedia definition) is a philosophical principle of exchanging one's own perspective for that of the "other". Islam does not teach it, but rather
